653 Lakeview Drive, Marion, NC 28752

Two parcels totaling 10.00 private acres share a boundary with approximately 38 acres of NC Wildlife Game Lands, which connect to the North Fork of the Catawba River, so the woods continue well beyond the property line. The setting feels remote, yet Lake James is a short drive away and downtown Marion is only minutes from the driveway. The log cabin sits well back in the trees, and a stream runs through the property. In the kitchen, fully custom red oak cabinetry with maple drawers is paired with granite countertops, and there is generous storage throughout. The window units convey and serve as backup cooling. Propane is supplied through a leased North State Gas tank. Outside, the property is set up for practical use. There are two storage sheds, one with electrical service and one without. There is also a chicken coop and a two-car carport for covered parking. The outbuildings give you room for equipment, tools, and workshop projects without giving up space in the cabin. With 10 acres across two parcels, a stream on site, and public game land next door, 653 Lakeview Drive N offers a level of privacy and space that is hard to find this close to town and the lake.
